“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works.” — Ephesians 2:10

At Reach Academy, we believe every child is fearfully and wonderfully made, with unique gifts, abilities, and potential. Our approach to Learning Support and Special Education is rooted in faith, high expectations, and individualized care, ensuring that students with learning or behavioral differences are not only supported—but empowered to thrive.

Our Philosophy: High Expectations, Individualized Support, Christ-Centered Love

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

Reach Academy is not a one-size-fits-all school. We intentionally design learning experiences that meet students where they are while guiding them toward growth—academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

We hold high expectations for all students, including those with special learning needs. Support at Reach Academy is never about lowering standards; it is about removing barriers, building confidence, and helping each child work at the highest level of their ability.

Our students are taught to love one another, respect differences, and understand that each person is created in God’s image. This culture of belonging allows students with learning or behavioral differences to feel safe, valued, and motivated.

Extensive Experience with Diverse Learners

Reach Academy has a strong history of success working with students who have:

  • Learning differences (reading, math, processing challenges)

  • Attention and focus needs (including ADHD)

  • Behavioral or social-emotional challenges

  • Executive functioning or organizational difficulties

  • Sensory or classroom regulation needs

Through small class sizes (average 1:12 ratio), close teacher-student relationships, qualified teacher's aides and individualized instructional planning, many students who struggled in traditional school environments experience renewed confidence and academic progress at Reach Academy Christian School.

Tuition & Fees for Special Education Students

Our published tuition reflects the cost of our core academic program.

Some students may require additional individualized support beyond the standard classroom setting. When specialized services are needed, additional support fees may apply and are determined on a case-by-case basis following a review of the student’s educational needs.

  • Tuition is based on the services provided and may vary depending on the student’s individualized plan.
  • Aftercare is available until 6:30 PM for an additional fee.
  • Families can combine tuition options (full-day or half-day programs) with specialized support tailored to their child’s needs.
Our administration team will provide a customized tuition estimate during your consultation or campus tour.

Texas Education Freedom Account (TEFA) Information

Families of students with documented disabilities and an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) on file with their public school district may qualify for additional state education funding, to help offset tuition and support services.

Reach Academy is happy to guide families through this process and discuss how TEFA funding may apply to their child.
